Blink Of An Eye

My own photo
Up high
in grayish
white
atmosphere,
clouds
mass like
an arctic
wasteland,
snow
falls soft
as guardian
angel's touch,
steady
rhythm,
volume
so light,
each flake
created
meandering
peacefully,
airborne
then a
slight
dusting,
dissolving,
fast in the
blink of
an eye.

I liked the way you take us
I liked the way you take us through from the 'arctic wasteland' above (a lovely phrase) through the falling, the covering, the melting, as you watch. Nice photo too! Rhiannon

'meandering peacefully' yes
'meandering peacefully' yes Jenny rain drops down fast, snow is unhurried, takes its' time. Good poem and camera blink, catching the scene.

I like how you have so few
I like how you have so few words on each line, so it has to be read slowly as snow falls slowly
"each flake
created
meandering
peacefully,"
putting "created" in reminds me that each flake is unique

A beautiful poem.
A beautiful poem. The next time it snows (tomorrow?), I shall read this poem again. A snapshot, a moment in time, something to savour. Lovely!
