With a word limit of 80, the theme was for imagistic poems on the subject of "cosmic". I changed the title for this version at ABCTales.

The Expanse
Dreams of satellites
over Saturnian shores,
unseen seascapes
of fire and ice
dance with imagination.
Silent stellar winds,
gravity and dust,
endless diaspora borders
distant galactic galleries
hosting absent gods.

The Expanse
Any relation to 'The Expanse' series of sci-fi novels ? What was the original title of your poem ?
Very atmospheric.

Congratulations thi is today's Pick of the Day, 20th April 2025
A fine poem, living up to the title. One might even call it numinous, perhaps. Poetry is the best way to address the ineffable, so that's why this is our pick of the day today. Please share if you like it too.
