Through The Mist Of Time

Recalling in moments of silence
the clarity of nature's balance...
where rhythms most fragile are
born in spring,
deep rooted in time, repeated
miracles curious for summer
feast, describing symbols that
lure me to the past.
Set my imagination to the sky,
pondering birds...their hunger
instincts beneath folds of grass,
garden's promise of sustenance.
Bees have taken flight, quivering
wings have flirted with blossom,
regardless of bitter winds, with no
respite – Queen their saving grace.
My location in simplicity traces path
where motivation gives thought to new
ideas – yet old aspirations through mist
of time always return.

Very dreamy. You sound more
Very dreamy. You sound more relaxed. Spring's changes come so silently, surprisingly, bit by bit don't they, but progress onward, even though the temperature seems to fluctuate. A lovely time of year, so much to watch out for. Rhiannon

This is BEAUTIFUL, Jenny,
This is BEAUTIFUL, Jenny, fabulous lines in every part! I love "repeated miracles" and "set my imagination to the sky" and your description of brave bees :0) Shows how huge your poetic ability, that you can write such gorgeous words when feeling so tired, I really hope Thursday brings you a solution. Will be thinking of you. Wishing you good nights' sleep xx

The cycle of the seasons and the rhythm of nature. It's grounding, isn't it?
Beautifully reflective and eminently balanced.
Very nicely done and hoping all goes well next week. Will be thinking of you.
