Babes in the Wood

Most people struggle with mental health at some point in their lives, I'd say. The following poem is a reflection on my own battle with depressive thoughts and existentialism. I find it to be rather cringy and on the nose, but maybe you'll enjoy it more than I do. This was created as part of a group activity in which we wrote poems using and "I Am" format, shown here: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f4/f4/da/f4f4daa3bef8ab50ba8efced6ca86633... Feel free to leave your interpretation or any feedback! I am by no means a particularly accomplished writer, especially when it comes to poetry.
